The benchmark for petrophysics, rock physics, facies analysis and statistical mineralogy. Collaborative multi-well log analysis made easy for better drilling decisions.
Tellus works alongside FRogi, which is an extensive geochemical database. FRogi contains geochemical data derived from rock, oil, gas and seep sample analyses.
Like Tellus, FRogi exists as an ArcMap extension and allows quick parameter based searching of a vast geochemical database. FRogi is fully compatible with ArcMap: data points can be selected and queried data can be shown in ArcMap.
Search results can be easily viewed in tabular format; data can be dynamically plotted onto pre-defined interpretive plots or exported for use in other applications.
In addition, FRogi also contains a Chromatogram Viewer, which allows the dynamic viewing and examination of GC and GCMS chromatograms for detailed analysis of biomarker distributions.
Tellus also contains an Oils in Play, Gas in Play, Seeps in Play and Rocks in Source layers which are derived from the eochemical data held within the FRogi database. From these layers the location and availability of oil, gas, seeps and rock samples that have associated geochemical data obtained from the FRogi database are linked to a Tellus play or source rock.
The database can be delivered in two ways, either as a standalone desktop application or through an ArcGIS front end, allowing the user to view the spatial distribution of the data and to interact with geochemical plots.
The application allows the user to produce charts, reports and spatial data for individual or selected wells and has the ability to export or add data.
Includes tool tips to help non-geochemists understand and use geochemical data:
Data held within FRogi include the following:
Our Geochemistry services range from routine source rock and maturity analyses through oil, condensate and gas characterisation and migration modelling.
