GeoVerse Primary Data provides access through the Cloud to the digitally transformed database derived from the full suite of CGG’s geological multi-client products, including a legacy of 600 Robertson “Red Book” Studies, which are added to on a continuous basis with new studies targeted at addressing today's emerging exploration challenges.
GeoVerse Interpretation
GeoVerse Interpretation is a next-generation play fairway mapping product for selected key basins, generated by geoscience teams that created the legacy Tellus/Basins & Plays products. Built using full access to GeoVerse Primary Data, CGG’s seismic data, JumpStart™ fully integrated multi-client geoscience packages and CGG GeoWells products, the new mapping incorporates consistent play-level map layers, new mapping methodologies, and unrivaled flexibility.
GeoVerse Palaeospace
GeoVerse Palaeospace provides access to CGG’s deformable global plate model and the results of high-level modeling that provide Earth Systems Dynamics and methodologies for predicting petroleum system elements. CGG’s Minerals & Mining team developed the proprietary methodology to evaluate more than 250,000 datapoints and 27,000 lithium measurements. The result is a comprehensive and consistent water chemistry database for more-informed project development and investment decisions.
Locate your next carbon storage site in the Northern North Sea and beyond
The new GeoVerse™ Carbon Storage screening study in the Northern North Sea helps CCUS operators quickly identifying suitable CO2 storage sites. This study, available for license, provides an in-depth review of potential CO2 storage plays in a region extending over CGG’s North Viking Graben 3D seismic dataset, including areas in both UK and Norwegian waters.
One of a number of multiclient studies in development, the project also makes use of our data processing and analytics capability, plus the subject matter expertise of CGG's dedicated CCUS technical team.

We have recently tapped into the improved and augmented data content within our GeoVerse multi-client database, and together with innovative data processing and analysis born of our experience and expertise, have generated a first-class geothermal resource assessment.
Building on this unique platform and dataset, we are currently developing a next-generation, higher resolution screening platform for regional use cases in the USA and beyond.
