Allow our HSE community and all staff worldwide to be trained to ensure sound and clear understanding of risk management and responsibilities related to implementation of our HSE Operating Management System (HSE-OMS). At the same time, reduce the amount of face-to-face training sessions without compromising the quality of information.
One of CGG’s Care+Protect HSE and Sustainable Development objectives has been to implement a rigorous HSE and SD training program. Following the release of CGG's new HSE-OMS, CGG University created a full-fledged self-service HSE library available to all employees worldwide 24/24. All business lines as well as the Group HSE have been involved to provide training modules to populate the platform.
Designed in collaboration between Group HSE and the Business Lines, the e-learning offer on the CGG University platform covers a wide range of topics related to HSE and Sustainable Development. Group HSE developed 28 HSE modules to complement face-to-face training courses. To support its own HSE objectives, the Marine Business Line designed a creative video training on safety intervention. Seven specific HSE modules were developed by GGR to support their office and operations around the world. With a visually appealing and ergonomic interface, interactive games and exercises to highlight key points, as well as a variety of incorporated media solutions, the e-learning modules are both interesting to participate in and downright captivating! Trainees who are not native English speakers can even make use of additional slides and scripts for reinforced understanding.
BEYOND ITS EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY, THIS PROJECT DISTINGUISHES ITSELF BY THE GREAT DIVERSITY OF THE EMPLOYEES USED AS PASSIONATE SPEAKERS.
These three projects in free access have two key things in common; they allow CGG to reach its employees around the world and each one relies on committed staff as facilitators.
The CGG HSE training offer is composed of 34 modules so far, totaling more than 16 hours of self-service e-learning. More than 7,800 training had been completed so far. The Marine Safety Training Intervention video has been watched by more than 600 employees so far.The collective impact of all e-learnings has certainly helped CGG make a step-change in the quality, efficiency and worldwide delivery of our HSE training portfolio. These HSE training initiatives have been recognized by client representatives for their innovation, teamwork, employee engagement and winning excellence of execution as recognized by a 2015 CGG Care+Protect Above&Beyond award.
